YT - Found Money in The Trash! Moved into Abandoned House.

I found this channel by accident. I was looking for something completely different when I stumbled across this guy, in a big truck, pulling up to a dumpster. The guy jumped in the dumpster and started throwing stuff out, where his pregnant wife was picking stuff up and throwing it in to the back of their pick up truck!

This was my first introduction to Dumpster Diving on YouTube!!


Now I'm completely hooked on The Chris & Hollie Show.

Chris & Hollie are likable people. They both have a great sense of humor and they are real. They have 3 kids between them but only 2 are in the videos.

I've been a avid watcher since before their baby was born and he recently turned One.

Ellion is his name and he's one of the cutest little guys, all the subscribers have watched his milestones over the past year and it adds to the greatness of the channel.

Melanie is the beautiful, funny & smart teenager. She recently started her own YouTube channel, where she debuts her lovely singing!

Watching The Chris & Hollie show is definitely an adventure. They love to go dumpster diving and they find a lot of things in the trash like home decor, housewares, craft supplies, candy, party supplies, snacks, jewelry and so much more! They repair a lot of the things they find and then sell the items.

Another thing they find is scrap metal. Chris & Hollie can often be found riding around with a trailer hitched to the back of their vehicle, just for the scrap metal they find in dumpsters.

This channel isn't just about Dumpster Diving, it's about so much more. Two months ago, they had 6,000 subscribers. Today they have over 9,000! Trust me, this channel is going to explode with Subscribers!! This is a fun family to watch.

Chris makes some of the most beautiful bird mansions (bird house). His woodworking skills have been highlighted in their videos. Chris can create a lot of beautiful things made of wood, things like tables, home decor and more. Check Out Chris' EBay

Hollie has a candle making business. When they find candles in the dumpster, the candles are usually broken or in a broken glass jar. Hollie can recycle that candle and make it into a new candle again.

A couple of months ago, we saw Chris & Hollie move into a new house. They worked hard to make this new home their own. The grass was almost chest high and Chris tackled it with a push mower! The yard was huge. They planted new shrubs in the front of the house, put up a mailbox and had a yard sale!

They painted rooms, cleaned out the basement, hauled off many loads of trash, hauled in a few loads of scrap metal for cash and then law enforcement showed up!!

This was the first time I had heard of adverse possession. Chris & Hollie had moved into an abandoned house and claimed it as their own!!

Now that takes balls.

They made it to their local news and the consensus was split, to whether they were right or wrong. I'm not in a position to judge their actions, only GOD can do that. It definitely made some good video watching. Reading comments was brutal, at best, in the beginning. I found myself defending my favorite youtubers on more than one video.

** I developed my own following of comment stalkers, lol. To this day, they feel compelled to reply on my comments and call me names, no matter what channel I'm on. To that I say "Meh, sticks and stones, buttmunch." **

From there Chris, Hollie and Melanie started a business where they cleaned up recently vacated rental homes. Getting the homes move in ready.

The Chris & Hollie show is a look in to the lives of a great family. They are honest, hard working, God fearing folks who live in the southern United States. They don't apologize for who they are or the decisions they make.
