How I Feed My Family of 11 for Under $100 | 77 MEALS! Review

Jamerill has had a channel on YouTube for some time. She's created quite the empire. Jamerill has a private for-pay website and it's worth it to become a member.

Back when my 9 were teens and eating me out of house and home, I was constantly searching for new meal ideas and recipes, to double up on. Then I found this wonderful mama who introduced me to the wonderful world of freezer meals!! Something I could prepare and one of the kids could pop in the oven, while I was at work. (I had many night time jobs to pay the bills.)

Jamerill even had a blog, where I could get the recipes. I printed the ones that my kids liked. It was hit or miss. They liked most everything but not everything. It's like those teen minds just have to buck the system on something. Since my kids were all teenagers, I taught them how to cook, if they wanted to eat.

Having a huge farm is useless if you don't know how to prepare the vegetables you grow or meat that you raise. Right? Nobody ever said "oh! That's abuse." Because all my kids had chores. Some ranged from weeding the garden, watering the garden and animals, shoveling poop out of stalls, feeding the animals, etc. Or inside chores of washing dishes by hand and running the dishwasher if it was full, vacuuming the entire house (except my bedroom that was always locked), laundry (yes, they could & would, including folding), etc.

Because while I was busting my butt outside of the home, sometimes never having a chance to sit down and often my night time job was my 2nd job, we never received government help. Not for lack of trying but they always said I made too much. I never could see it, if I made $1500 a week for 10 people... Anyway, whatever. I paid for after school activities & all kinds of summer camps. My kids had it good. They all gradually left the nest, I'm an empty nester now. I paid for all 9 to have an education after highschool. Some went to college (2 got scholarships) 6 went to tech schools and 1 went to cosmetology school.

And now ... Now, I'm a Gigi to 8 tiny humans. ❤ The oldest is 4 and he just had a birthday. I hope his mommies enjoy the playground I sent him. I gave him a stuffie tigger on his 2nd birthday and he's carried it everywhere!! Oh but that boy has my heart.
💋
