Book Review: MAD Librarian by Michael Guillebeau

Diva's News & Reviews

I actually finished this book 2 days after the new year! I had received this book from netgalley for free. I think the busiest time of the year, I was rejecting book reviews left and right, but found myself needing an escape just to calm my racing mind. This is why I did not want to be committed to a review! My apologies to the author, but also my gratitude for writing this excellent book.

This is a book for the ages. I loved it! We often take advantage of our public libraries when we need something (computers with free wifi, notasry services, fax a document & books to learn how to do a million thing or escape our own realities) and forget that the government budgets for these awesome institutions take hit after hit, in the financial department.

This book is worth reading. I was instantly drawn into the story. Loved the characters. Rooted for the under dog and was so sad when the book ended. Only the BEST books can make me sad to finish.

  1. Looks like a good book. I try to never commit to a review with in a certain period of time. But if I read a book I always leave a review but it has to be in my time frame. I try to at least read 1-2 books a month.
